How to decide your future career
Dear Nike,
I’m sorry to hear that you ‘re having problems. I know how difficult it is when you have to decide what you want to do in the future. It’s hard for your parents, too. They only want what’s best for you.
First of all , I suggest that you sit down and talk to them. Tell them that you have always dreamt of becoming a mechanic. Why don’t you give them an example of a successful mechanic you admire?
If I were you , I’d explain to them why you want to become a mechanic . My advice would be to tell them that you ‘d love cars and you are good at fixing things. And you could fix his car.
I also think you should tell them that although they are both very good at what they do, everyone is different. Tell them that you respect their work and that you want them to be happy that you already have ambitions for the future. I’m sure they will agree to support your decision.
