Do celebrities make too much money?
Everyone knows that celebrities and professional athletes are well paid. However, some people believe that they are paid too much. Well, I believe that they are paid too much but they deserve it.
I will mainly talk about athletes because I am an athlete too. I am not a professional athlete I just do it for myself because I love exercising. But I can recognize how hard it is for someone to combine his everyday life with all the liabilities, and his training for a championship at the same time. Being an athlete means that they do not have time to spend with their family or friends. Being an athlete means that they must be at their gym for at least 5 hours and when they finish their training they must go home, do some extra exercise like push-ups, just to maintain their physical condition and then they must complete all the liabilities they have just like homework or some chores they might have outside or inside the house. Secondly, it is forbidden for athletes to eat a lot. Their body must be in a good situation so they should not eat junk food or generally eat a lot. Furthermore, they must sleep well, at least for nine hours, so their nightlife is over. All in all, what I am saying is that being an athlete is not easy because they lose all the beautiful things of life. Of course, it is their decision and of course, they love what they are doing but at least they deserve the money they get and everybody should respect this.
Celebrities come next and I believe that they deserve the money they get too. Actors, for example, are obliged to learn by heart a whole role, customize, feel what they are doing, and be in a studio all day. They do not have time for their families either. Singers must always perform in the stage even if they are sick, they are injured, even if someone of his family dies and they must always look happy to their fans. Imagine how difficult this is.
In conclusion, I believe that everybody should be awarded for what is he doing but especially those people, celebrities and professional athletes deserve more.
